The family unit went to our neighbor's house for dinner last weekend.  They have two kids as well.  Cooper is 4 and Keily is the same age as Jake.  Jake and Keily will be in the same class together when they start school.  Cole and Jake had fun getting into all of their toys after dinner.

Jake got to play with Emmet while Mommy and Cole visited with her friend Tara (with her daughter Adara) and Kristen with Emmet's little brother Nicholai.

Jake smacked his head on the edge of a marble table last weekend.  The top picture was right after it happened.  He had a pretty big bump.  The bottom picture was the next day.  Pretty swollen, black and blue and a scrape where he hit it.  With some extra TLC, he battled through it.

Cole is officially on the move.

Pumpkin patch 2014!

You can see Jake picking up the pumpkin, walking it over, then realizing he is losing his grip.  It was pretty heavy.  He almost made it to the wheelbarrow. 

The family unit headed out to the pumpkin patch to get some pumpkins for Halloween.
