Jake favorite thing to do at the cabin was play on a big pulled up stump right off the back of the cabin. He spent hours digging around in the dirt and piling up rocks and sticks.
Jake and his cousins brought the frogs they caught back to the cabin and let them go in a little pond out back.
All the Peters boys walked down to the Little Virginia Lodge to get an ice cream and go hunting for frogs. Jake loved feeling the little frog tickling inside his hand.

Jake grabbed his pencils and paper and joined Auntie Laurie for a morning art session. They even had another one mid-day under some shady trees.

Jake, Daddy and Auntie Laurie took a hike up to Red Lake, the water source for the cabin. Not a lot of fisherman go up there so it's a prime rock throwing spot.

Jake caught a couple of little fish then pulled in a whopper! Jake caught the fish John is holding. It's the biggest fish Daddy or Uncle John had ever seen come out of Big Virginia. AMAZING!!!!

The stars aligned and LOTS of the Peters family was able to make it up to the cabin for Jake's first trip.
Jake and Daddy got up reeeeally early in the morning and saw the sunrise on the road as we drove 5 hours to Bridgeport. There we had lunch before heading up for Jake's first trip to the cabin.
